Having been a highlight on the opening day of the Dubai Air Show on Nov. 15 with its flying display, the F-22 Raptor is returning to purely military duties today and is not expected to make another public appearance here until Nov. 19, show organizers say.
Six USAF F-22s are participating in a United Arab Emirates military exercise alongside similar numbers of British Typhoons, French Rafales and other fighter jets.
It was one of the U.S. fighters in the exercise that provided the wow factor for flying display watchers here yesterday.
The Monday, Nov. 16, flying display schedule is as follows:
14.00 Frecce Tricolori
14.22 Aermacchi M346
14.26 F-16
14.36 L15
14.42 F-15E
14.54 Super Mushak
15.00 Rafale
15.08 PC21
15.14 C-27J Spartan
15.20 Tiger
