ANKARA, Turkey — A third A400M military transport aircraft was delivered to the Turkish Air Force, Turkish officials said.

The third A400M military transport aircraft has been delivered by its maker, the Airbus Group, to the Turkish Air Force, Turkish officials have said.

Turkey had suspended the flights of the two A400Ms delivered by the Airbus Group, the plane's manufacturer, earlier after an A400M crashed near Sevilla, Spain, last year.

Turkish officials said the two aircraft were sent to sent to Airbus for retrofit work and reinforced software work.

The officials said A400M flights will resume in January.

In 2003, Turkey signed a deal for a batch of 10 A400Ms, with final deliveries scheduled for 2018.

A400M deliveries to Turkey have faced some delays, sparking a dispute between Airbus and the Turkish government. Turkey accused Airbus for failing in its delivery timetable, and Airbus accused Turkey for of using delays for bargaining.

Other A400M client nations are Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Spain and Britain.
