WASHINGTON — Joe Nadol, a 42-year-old defense and aerospace analyst at JPMorgan Chase, was among six people killed Tuesday in a commuter rail accident in New York.
Nadol, of New Castle, New York, was a managing director and analyst for JPMorgan. According to media reports, he was a father of three.
Nadol was listed as a top equity analyst by Institutional Investor's Alpha and among Defense News' most influential people.
"Our thoughts and support are with Joe's family during this difficult time," JPMorgan spokeswoman Tasha Pelio said in a statement.
Nadol was a passenger in a Metro-North train that struck a Jeep Tuesday evening and burst into flames. The National Transportation Safety Board said the investigation is ongoing as of Thursday morning.
