New Zealand’s military has tested beach-landing equipment in an overseas environment — a type of exercise one officer admitted hasn't happened for a while.
“New Zealand may be a long way from Europe, but we know that such a blatant attack on a country’s sovereignty is a threat to all of us,” Defence Minister Peeni Henare said April 12.
